The Mabinogion is the earliest prose stories of the literature of Britain. These tales include the Four Branches of the Mabinogi, native Welsh tales, and Arthurian romances.
In Welsh mythology, Annwn is the Otherworld, ruled by Arawn or Gwyn ap Nudd. It is a realm of eternal youth and abundance, home to the Cŵn Annwn (Hounds of Annwn).
